MY STORY

My Story

My name is Taylor Ash. I was diagnosed in September of 2018 with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in my fibula. I did 6 rounds of chemo and two surgeries. In May 2021, I celebrated 2-years cancer-free. It was a long, hard journey but I did it. I learned so much about myself and the world of cancer during my treatment. I decided that I need to spread awareness about childhood cancer. I made these stickers. Put them on your water bottle,  computer, or anywhere to help spread awareness.

Get Involved

I met so many great kids while I fought. No child should have to fight cancer. There are so many amazing warriors out there that need our help. There are so many great foundations out there that help fund research for childhood cancer. My favorite foundation is St. Baldrick's  but there are so many great foundations such as Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation and the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation. Another great place to donate is Children's Hospital of Colorado -send your donation to the oncology department. Another great foundation was started by one of my very close friends, Campbell. It's the Ski Fast Foundation. Ski Fast gives money to kids fighting sarcomas for things that they are interested in. Donations to these foundations can help change so many kids lives and it can help save kids.
